The Garrett 15″ Super Sluice gold pan features two deep 1/2″ riffles that will capture larger nuggets a smaller riffle design would lose. These riffles allow for very aggressive “sluice” style panning as volume is often the name of the game. The pan is particularly good for dry panning. The green plastic is stouter than that used in other plastic gold pans, great for those who have experienced the frustration of a broken pan in the field. This pan is 15″ across the top, 9″ wide across the bottom, and it stands 3-3/8″ tall. It does not have a drop center.
