This sluice box has been the standard of the industry for decades. The A52 is designed with a wider flare than it’s smaller cousins for faster separation and longer for greater capacity. The box itself is constructed of aluminum and features “quick latch” removeable steel riffles. The riffles hold down expanded steel diamond mesh over green riffled carpet. There is a short piece of black ribbed rubber just ahead of the riffles to act as a quick visual check for gold in that last bucket or shovel full of gravel. The flare is detachable for storage and packing or it can be left behind for those times when every ounce counts. This sluice box is well balanced with a handle for carrying.
