The design reduced the cutter wheel weight and also made the carbide-hardened teeth individually removable.

The new round teeth on this model are longer lasting! Just rotate the tooth tip and it’s a fresh sharp surface! The round teeth can be rotated 3 to 4 times.

The grinding width is about 2 inches. The grinder has a safety switch as well as a braking system. The right side brake is what allows the device to be fixed at the tree root. This break creates a pivot so the grinder can be moved back and forth along the stump. The side discharge design allows smooth forward movement. The cuttings are directed away from the machine and the cutter wheel. The BSF-13r comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty and a 1-year warranty on the Kohler motor.
