AMDS stocks its own version of the BARE D6 HD Pro drysuit designed especially for gold mining and other specialty applications. The D6 HD Pro is a favorite among sport and commercial divers because it offers a high degree of warmth, protection and durability. This traditional neoprene suit includes an impressive list of standard features and a less bulky, low profile shoulder zipper. The AMDS Edition is designed for shallow water use, and so we have deleted the air valves to save money, and instead all our suits come with a relief zipper installed. The D6 Pro is a rear should entry suit, and anyone using our suits for long hours must have a relief zipper. The D6 features latex wrist seals as a standard feature, but many users prefer heavy neoprene wrist seals for extra durability, and most of the suits we stock have this as a preinstalled item. We also offer a unique combination of both inner latex and outer neoprene wrist seal for the ultimate in a wrist seal that is both extra dry and durable. The suits can also be equipped with special lock ring detachable gloves as a special option. Finally, AMDS offers these suits with both soft neoprene socks or heavy duty rubber boot options. Most people prefer the neoprene sock used with an outer boot of their choosing, as the outer boot can wear and be changed out as needed. However this is a bulkier option and some people do prefer the attached heavy duty rubber boot, so we have both options.

AMDS stocks these suits in common sizes and option combinations, but long lead times are required to manufacture the suits. It is therefore imperative that a person not wait until the last moment, but contact us for suit availability as far in advance of needing it as possible.

Standard D6 HD Pro Features: NST process (No Stitch Technology) uses double heat tape technology and a seam tape to securely seal seams while maximizing the suits overall stretch characteristics. The inner fabric is a high stretch blend of nylon and spandex that’s incredibly smooth, for easy donning over thermal layers. D-FOAM Diving Grade neoprene with better compression resistance than standard neoprene is used in the D6 as well as DIAMOND-TUFF Abrasion-resistant knit fabric with heavier yarns to improve the drysuits overall durability. Kneepads are standard on all D6 Pro suits and feature K-PADZ Kevlar® laminated over neoprene with Melco 75500 taped edges for durability with added padding. A 2mm nylon/smoothskin warm collar with vented neck drain provides an improved seal with the optional BARE dry hood. Finally, we do offer these models custom fit and built to your size and specifications, but highly recommend giving yourself plenty of time – two months is not unreasonable.
