In AMDS opinion the Garrett Plastic Gold Vial is one of the best small bottles you can buy for field use. It is made of a tough but slightly flexible clear plastic, and so far less prone to cracking or breaking than other plastic vials. It is almost as clear as glass when new but of course will scuff up more than glass with use. The main thing is your gold is safe in this vial. The Garrett Gold Vial is 2-1/4″ tall by 3/4″ wide and has a 7/16″ opening with a large easy grip knurled cap. This vial will hold 1.5 to 2 ounces placer gold depending on size and shape.
