This crystal clear glass vial with screw on black plastic cap is perfect for displaying or selling your gold. Glass does not scuff and cloud up like plastic does with use. This glass vial is 2-3/8″ tall by 11/16″ wide with a 3/8″ opening. The vial has a liquid capacity of 7.39 ml and will hold about 2 ounces of placer gold, but this varies with the size of the gold and is a rough estimate only. This vial might break if dropped and therefore is not recommended for field use. Look at our tough plastic vials as a better alternative for field use.
